For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals. I have grown up with dogs, cats, birds, fish and turtles/tortoise. When I got out of High School I started to help with family and friends animals, I started off walking my aunts dogs. Then I started to stay at family friends houses with their animals while they went on vacation. I realized that this was what I wanted to do and rather than have to work for someone else or major company I decided to start my own business.
I wanted to have my own business so I could make sure that the animals were really getting the best care. It also has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and animals, as well as improve upon my skills. I have learned many different things from each of my clients about all different training techniques, as well as tips for getting animals to take medication. When I started this business at the end of 2013 I wanted to make sure that all animals could get the proper care when their parents were away!
I have also been in the process of getting different certifications! I am working on getting my Dog Obedience Instructor certification (I can't wait to pass on training tips to my families and helpers!). I am getting that through the Animal Behavior College. I am apart of NAPPS, which is the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, and with them I have gotten NAPPS Certification Course, both of these have animal First Aid and Animal Safety sections. I plan to pass all this knowledge to my families and helpers along the way.
We cant wait to meet you all! I am also in the process of getting a few other animal related certifications so the animals in my care and my helpers care are getting the absolute best care possible>
